Ill put my Nuts in your face!

So I thought I would start a new topic to hopefully start getting people to post. I wanted to talk about a hand I played Yesterday online. I think I played this hand really well but lets see what you think! I was playing .10-.25 no limit cash game. It was the 1st hand i got dealt. usual I usually like to sit out one full rotation to get some what of a over view of the types of players. (side note) I always play 6 handed tables instead of 9 and I also look for tables that the percentage of people in a hand pre-flop is less then 40%.I do this for a couple reason. 1) Since its 6 handed the blinds move around quicker you want tighter players so you can steal more small pots. 2) because its a lot easier to to put tight players on hands, especially online. 3) you get to see a lot of hands. which means your not so bored. Anyways back to my hand. I finally play my big blind. It gets raised by the under the gun player and everyone, including me folds! There isn't a whole lot of action just a lot of raises and folds! Then 3 hands later I get dealt  under the gun! now up to this point I have not raised once. I look to be pretty tight as of right now. I raise it to .38 cents and the player on the button calls as does the big blind. This is the biggest pot I have seen yet. The button player is the loosest of the table and has shown only A-4 to win a pot with a pair of aces. He has raised a couple and taken it down like that. I don't know to much about the big Blind. I feel like he just called because it was .28 more to win .81 he is getting about 3.5-1 on his money. I put his range of hands on two suited connectors or two face cards. The flop comes  a great flop for me. I bet out .40 the button calls and the big blind folds. Since the only hand I have seen the button player show so far was  the A-4 i put him on a A-x or K-Q , K-J. the turn came  . another beautiful card. So i thought for a second and since he is probably the aggressor at the table I feel like checking here is my best option and this is why. 1) because it shows weakness (which I am not). If he thinks i was playing middle pocket pairs of any sort or even K-X, or a draw for that matter, he will think if he bets he will win the pot.2) If he is holding K-J or K-Q if gives him an extra card to catch his J or Q. which he will surely pay me off with. 3) Lets say he checks he will be more inclined to call a river bet with my "weird' check on the turn. Now the down fall to this play is lets say I am way off on my read and he is holding Q-J or J-10 I am now giving him a free card to catch. Or lets stay he called the flop with a pocket pair, or at worst he already caught his set and I am drawing real slim. The last one is very unlikely because I think with his aggressive style he would have raised me on the flop. He ends up checking behind me. the river comes the  . I cant check here. I bet out .60 into a roughly 2$ pot I want a call here. He immediately raises it to 2.60. I raise all-in and he calls my additional 3 dollars and i win the pot and he mucks! Now I think I played this hand pretty well. The cards helped for sure don't get me wrong. But I gave him "enough rope to hang himself". I don't know what he had but I think K-Q. My check on the turn with Top two is I think what made this play great. Now against a player i have no information about I don't make that play but i felt I knew enough information on him to narrow down his hand possibility's. I am starting to be more observant and having a better memory of hands played. I feel like i am really progressing and it only makes me want to learn more and more. How do you think I played the hand? Any advice would be great please!

Obviously you played the hand right you got him to push all of his chips into the middle.  He probably put you on at least an Ace so the check on the turn probably confused him then when the 2nd king hit he probably thought he could bluff you off of it making it look like he had the king. I dont think he was looking for a call there. He might even of had a weak Ace that he was trying to over play, all of those are viable options. For some reason I dont think he was as strong as K-X.  The only thing I might have done differently is I would have checked top two to make it look like i was scared of that board with a medium pocket pair and let him try and convince me hes got the Ace while just check-calling untill the river maybe even making it look like i was chasing the straight or the flush on the turn. But then again I did that once agaisnt louis and he rivered a straight haha, which happens and like I said I dont think that hand could have been played any better since you got him to commit to it.
